This was the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed at! The beds were so comfy, the shower was amazing, the hot tub was perfect, and the EV charging was a great addition. We loved all the Star Wars decor, especially Chewie and wampa. The weather here was the perfect escape from the LA heatwave (73 here vs 100+ in LA).

This Airbnb was one of my favorite stay's I've ever had in the big Bear area. The Star Wars themes throughout the entire cabin were super cool. The place was extremely clean and well-stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Nice home, great host and worth the stay.

This was our second stay at Moonridge Echo Camp! The location is hard to beat, with the perfect combo of it feeling peaceful and quiet while also having great access walking trails and the coffee shop. We also love having the peace of mind that our dog will be secure when we let him roam in the backyard. Lots of thoughtful amenities as well. We look forward to coming back for a third time!

This place is awesome - host is super communicable and quick to respond, the place itself is great and close to the mountain for easy back and forth. Would certainly come back and definitely recommend!

Honestly, this was the most convenient AirbNb we have stayed at to date and we have stayed at many! I loved how the house came fully stocked and everything was labeled which made it easy to find things. We loved the Jacuzzi and how warm and cozy the house felt. Absolutely loved the fireplace because it turned on with a switch. Communication with owner was great too. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It is a must!

We spent 3 nights at Moonridge Echo Camp and really enjoyed our stay. The house was cozy and well equipped with everything that we needed. The Star Wars decor was really fun and my boys loved the bunk beds along with the hot tub. The location was ideal to get to the ski resorts, restaurants and grocery store. I would highly recommend Robert's Echo camp to anyone that wants a nice clean place that is fun to stay at. Thank you, Robert, for your hospitality, drinks you left for New Years and the cool swag!

Great place. Clean se to everything

Great place for snow sports—only 5 minutes to Snow Summit and about 10 minutes to everything else. Robert was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The house is a hidden gem; we really enjoyed the jacuzzi/hot tub, and the amenities were thoughtful and well-equipped, including EV charging at the parking spot. Would definitely come back.

Robert was so welcoming and was a communicative and kind host. How I would describe the place: COMFORTABLE! The beds were firm and clean and you could tell that the furniture is curated for the place. It wasn’t just a bunch of old reused furniture (especially beds) which I appreciated. The place was also CLEAN given that dogs are allowed there, it was tidy and clean (no evidence of animal dander or fur on floors or furniture). The place is also really FUN. If you have kids, they’ll love the bunk beds and the wall lights that change colors. Robert had stocked some video games for us to play with and my kids had a blast with that. A++ five star rating for Robert and this place. Don’t hesitate to book!

We felt right at home. The place is super clean and very well located. We enjoyed the fire pit, and the house has heating, which made our stay much more comfortable during the cold weather. I would definitely come back without hesitation. We 100% recommend it.

Our family loved our stay at Moonridge Echo Camp! We spent Christmas here with my dad, our two daughters (2 years old and 7 months old) and our 2 dogs. It was the perfect amount of space for us. The home was extremely clean yet cozy, felt like a hotel (in a good way)! Robert was super responsive leading up to, during, and after our stay and personally brought over things we needed when we asked for them. I’ve never had such an exceptional AirBnb experience. Our toddler loved the holiday decor and the big Chewbacca! The hot tub was ready to go right when we got there, which was great after a long drive up the mountain! We were bummed that we didn’t get snow during our stay and it rained a lot but now we know to wait later into the winter season. Overall, we had an amazing time and look forward to coming back to make more memories!

We enjoyed our stay at Moonridge Echo Camp. The house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood, super close to both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. Robert is super responsive to requests and helpful with recommendations. The Star Wars theme was amazing throughout, and we enjoyed the holiday decorations. We appreciated everything being labelled, especially in the kitchen drawers and cabinets. It is well stocked to cook meals, with plenty of plates and cups. We definitely will stay here again.

Absolutely amazing stay! Great service, super responsive. The entire cabin was amazing and star wars themed to the max. Everyone loved it and the amenities were great. You can’t beat a hot tub, fire pit, fire place, and bbq grill. The beds were super comfy. Plenty of towels. Beautiful surroundings! Around many trails and a short drive to all the local shops and restaurants.

We loved this Airbnb and can't wait to return. The home was comfortable and fun. It is even more amazing if you are a star wars fan! It was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable — you can tell every detail was thoughtfully considered. The house is well stocked from the kitchen to the bedrooms. It’s the kind of place that feels like a retreat in any season: crisp and relaxing in the fall or cozy and warm in the winter. I'd imagine the spring and summer would be very peaceful with the beautiful pine trees and surroundings. Our host went above and beyond to make our stay was carefree and relaxing. I would 100% recommend this stay!

We had a great time @ Echo Base Camp. Everything was as described and being Star Wars fans we loved the decor. Hosts were helpful and generous with their time. They really care about the client and we will definitely rent again! Thank you!

Robert was a great host! He was responsive and provided local recommendations to eat and go fishing. He also provided a local charter to use to help with our fishing experience. The house was just as listed and the neighborhood was very quiet. We saw quite a few of the local squirrels - so cute. Everything was labeled in the kitchen which made it awesome to find things. The coffee maker had the capacity to make one cup or a pot of coffee, loved that. If you’re a Star Wars fan, this place is definitely for you! We found the house because the wooden Chewbacca was there to greet us. So cool!!! The market and drug store were a 5 minute drive. And, to go fishing it was a 15-20 minute drive depending where you wanted to go. We plan on making this an annual affair now. Thank you for the memories!

We had a great stay. There are so many pluses to this rental. Spa, firepit table, great BBQ . Spa was great and easy to operate. We enjoyed the short walk to the trolley. Got out of the heat of the desert, plan to do it again next year! This was a nice rental

We loved our stay here! Had all the amenities we needed, great location, and perfect space for our dog too. We appreciated how everything in the house was labeled so we knew exactly where to find the everything. It was also impeccably clean, which you don’t always get at pet-friendly places. Great proximity to the donut and coffee shop, plus a nice walking trail. Will definitely come back! (Bonus points for the fun Star Wars theming!)

“Everything you need in a great location”

Lets start with the amenity that saved the day! About 9:20pm on Friday night the power went out in Big Bear. The power was until 12pm the following day! But Moonridge Echo Camp has a backup power generator. We walked to Dank Donuts in the morning to see if they were open with the power out. Power out, but selling donuts and accepting cards. The locals were talking about the power outage like it's a common occurrence during the summer. We might have bailed earlier on the weekend if it weren't for the back up power generator. Lets talk location. The neighborhood feels off the tourist path despite so many nearby rentals, but we didn't didn't drive anywhere. We walked the mile to Snow Summit. From Snow Summit, we used the free red line trolley to get to the village and home again. It wasn't a very busy weekend and the trolley was nearly empty when we rode on it. Back to the cabin amenities. The Star Wars, wookie vacation home theme is a really fun touch. Everything was very clearly labeled. We used everything except for the stove. We enjoyed the hot tub right around sunset every night. The grill and the fire pit table are both hooked up directly to a gas line. We grilled the second day and stay up until 10pm at the fire pit table on the third day. We've been at vacation rentals with these amenities before, but this is the first time we've had a great experience with each amenity. Nothing dirty, nothing broken, and zero hassle! We'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this property, which included soaking in the hot tub and reading on the deck. Robert is a great host. He was very responsive and took the time to email me information so my Gen X self can print things out. We loved the Star Wars theme throughout the house. The house included a lot of amenities. The house is within walking distance of the Bristlecone trail and a short drive to town. We would definitely come back to this Airbnb.

Robert’s Airbnb is 10 out of 10! This is the best Airbnb we stayed in the Big Bear. The house is very clean, well stocked, and everything is labeled. They really thought of everything with front porch gas fire, gas bbq equipment and the back yard has an amazing hot tub. It is also walking distance to local coffees and new restaurants. You have to try the new hip bar called the Moonridge Room. Also it is close to the ski lift. We truly enjoy our stay, we will definitely come back to this cool Star War theme Airbnb.
